Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled

Senior ServiceNow Developer

with proven experience in the

Security Operations (SecOps) module

to lead the design, development, and implementation of security-centric solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong platform knowledge, hands-on experience with both out-of-the-box (OOB) and custom SecOps functionalities, and expertise in building custom catalog items and integrations for security workflows.Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow SecOps modules, including:

Security Incident Response (SIR)
Vulnerability Response (VR)
Threat Intelligence (TI)

Develop and customize Service Catalog items for security use cases, including dynamic forms, workflows, and automation.
Configure and enhance OOB SecOps functionalities and implement custom components as needed.
Collaborate with SOC teams, security analysts, and stakeholders to gather and refine technical requirements.
Develop client-side and server-side scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Scheduled Jobs).
Design and implement REST/SOAP integrations with third-party security tools and platforms.
Apply and enforce secure development practices, RBAC controls, and platform governance.
Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and mentor junior developers.
Document technical solutions, configurations, and changes for knowledge sharing and audit readiness.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven hands-on expertise with ServiceNow SecOps modules: SIR, VR, TI.
Proficiency in developing Service Catalog items and automating workflows (Flow Designer / Workflow Editor).
Strong ServiceNow scripting skills (JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client/Server).
Experience with REST and SOAP-based integrations to security tools/platforms.
Skilled in RBAC, ACLs, and secure development practices.
Familiar with Scoped Application development, update sets, and platform lifecycle management.
Experience working closely with SOC/Security teams for requirement gathering.
Strong communication skills to interact with technical and business stakeholders.
