This Position reports to:

Sales Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.The work model for the role is: #Li_OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Motion Large Motors & Generators business in Vadodara, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Sells products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned divisions.
  • Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promotes their understanding of ABBs complete product/systems/ services offering, and aligns with them to provide a solution.
  • Should have good knowledge of Induction Motors and industry applications.
  • Conducting competitor analysis in order to keep track of competitor moves and market trends/situations.
  • End to-end tendering/bidding activities inclusive of cost estimates, price evaluation, margins,deviations and variation proposals.
  • Leading and collaborating with Sales team for development and ensuring on-time achievement of budgets via cluster/ channels.
  • Lead end to-end tendering/bidding activities inclusive of cost estimates, price evaluation, margins, deviations and variation proposals.
Qualifications for the role
  • 10 to 14 years of experience with full time engineering in Electrical or Mechanical.
  • Builds long lasting customer relationships and manages the resolution of their specific needs/issues.
  • Positive attitude to achieve team and organization goal.
  • Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities.
  • Ensures adherence to all relevant internal and statutory regulations and policies.
  • Travelling to customer locations as per business requirements.
