Role Overview

city lead

From setting up distributors and sales routes to closing partnerships and leading activations, you’ll be responsible for turning Swichh into a visible, fast-moving brand.

🎯 

Key Responsibilities

🏪 

1. Channel Development

  • Build and manage offline sales channels: 

    HoReCa, GT, MT.

  • Onboard premium cafés, gyms, restaurants, and retail stores.

  • Negotiate with distributors, manage trade margins, and optimize inventory flow.


📈 

2. Sales Planning & Execution

  • Design and own 

    monthly sales targets, routes, and coverage plans.

  • Drive sell-in & sell-out performance, ensuring high product velocity.

  • Lead a small field team, training and mentoring them for scale.

  • Personally close key accounts during the initial phase.

3. Brand Presence & Activation

  • Plan and execute 

    city-level activations, tastings, and partnerships.

  • Collaborate with marketing for POS materials and influencer tie-ups.

  • Ensure strong product visibility and recall in all outlets.

4. Reporting & Insights

  • Maintain weekly/monthly sales dashboards and forecasts.
  • Provide feedback on pricing, consumer behaviour, and competitor activity.
  • Work closely with operations to align production and logistics.

City Ownership Mindset

  • Act like the 

    mini-CEO for Bangalore

     — you own the presence, visibility, and sales.
  • Bring creative ideas to make Swichh a known name across the city’s health-conscious crowd.


💪 

Who You Are

  • 5–8 years of experience in 

    FMCG / Beverage / Food

     sales.
  • Hands-on exposure to 

    HoReCa, GT, and/or MT

     channels.
  • Strong distributor & outlet network in Bangalore.
  • Fluent in 

    English and Kannada

     (Hindi optional but preferred).
  • Leadership mindset — can build, motivate, and manage a field team.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude — bias for action, adaptable, and hungry to grow.
  • (Bonus: Experience launching or scaling a new beverage / startup brand.)
