Job Description

As a Sales Manager, you will lead and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and team targets. You will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and converting new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales goals. Building and nurturing long-term relationships with clients through exceptional service and regular follow-ups will be crucial in this role. Additionally, conducting compelling product presentations and demonstrations tailored to client needs and proposing effective solutions to meet customer requirements will be part of your responsibilities. Negotiating and closing deals effectively, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, and collaborating with marketing, product, and support teams to optimize the sales funnel and customer journey are key aspects of this position. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of leads, opportunities, and interactions using CRM tools and providing timely sales reports, pipeline updates, and performance forecasts to senior management are also important tasks. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in SaaS, EdTech, or B2B services. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Being a self-starter with a goal-oriented mindset, strong closing abilities, and proficiency in using CRM systems and MS Office applications are also required. Preferred skills for this position include experience in B2B or enterprise-level sales, a strong understanding of industry trends and market dynamics, and prior experience in team leadership or mentoring junior sales staff.
