Project Brief:
Asani is a women-led program by Desai Foundation Trust that addresses menstruation-related challenges using a holistic approach. The name "Asani" means "with ease," as menstruation should not be difficult to manage. Asani provides affordable, high-quality sanitary napkins while employing rural women in manufacturing, distribution, and sales. Our awareness program promotes good menstrual habits, improving the health of girls and women. We offer flexible participation, helping women overcome stigma and stay in school and work. Currently, we are looking for an Asani Sales Executive for the Gujarat locations who play a vital role in increasing the reach, visibility, and sustainability of the Asani program in Gujarat. You will support both the distribution of sanitary napkins along with strengthening production sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
1.Business Development:
● Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
● Arrange and conduct effective meetings with potential clients to showcase products and services.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
● Nurture customer relationships, track sales data, and generate actionable performance reports.
● Conduct market research to identify selling opportunities and address customer needs.
3. Drive Sales:
● Develop and execute targeted marketing strategies to boost sales and visibility.
● Achieve program goals for production sustainability and rural women's livelihoods.
4. Presentation and Stock Management:
● Prepare and deliver compelling presentations on Asani products and services.
● Ensure stock availability for sales and demonstrations, optimizing inventory management.
5. Problem-solving and planning:
● Independently address challenges and identify underlying issues to maintain sales momentum.
● Develop and implement long-term plans using effective planning tools.
6. Travel and Reporting:
● Regularly travel within designated regions to meet clients and prospects.
● Provide timely and professional reporting on sales activities, outcomes, and challenges.
7. Program Execution (Support Role)
● Participate in awareness programs, school/community sessions, and events when needed.
● Support the team in program implementation logistics.
Skills and competences
● Minimum 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development. Freshers with high energy and good communication skills may also apply.
● Strong verbal and written communication (Hindi and English; regional language is a plus).
● Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets, Canva and email communications.
● Proactive, disciplined, and passionate about women’s health and empowerment.
● Remuneration will depend on the qualification & experience, which will be negotiable.
