JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Sales Executive
Industry: Solar Industry
Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years in Solar Industry (Preferably working with EPC / IPP Companies)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Executive with a strong background in the solar industry. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing key customer accounts, and driving sales of solar mounting structures used in solar parks and utility-scale solar projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and approach potential clients in the Solar EPC, IPP, Project Developers, and Solar Contractors segment.
  • Promote and sell solar mounting structures and related components used in ground-mounted and rooftop solar plants.
  • Handle end-to-end sales activities including enquiry handling, quotation preparation, negotiation, and order closure.
  • Maintain strong business relationships with procurement teams, project heads, technical teams, and decision-makers.
  • Track ongoing and upcoming solar projects and convert them into business opportunities.
  • Coordinate internally with engineering, production, and dispatch teams for timely order execution.
  • Prepare reports on client visits, sales pipeline, competitor activities, and market insights.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as per company goals.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working directly in the solar industry.
  • Existing network/contact base with EPC companies, IPPs, developers, and solar engineering firms preferred.
  • Strong technical understanding of solar project components and mounting systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage long sales cycles and work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.

Qualification:

  • Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering
  • Graduate with proven solar industry sales experience.
