Position Overview

Senior Sales Engineer – Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Territory Management

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales and collection targets.
  • Develop and execute a territory plan for Telangana & Andhra Pradesh.
  • Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation quotation negotiation order billing payment.

2. Client & Consultant Engagement

  • Engage with Electrical Consultants, EPC Contractors, PMC teams, government bodies and project owners.
  • Secure technical approvals, specifications, and project inclusion for Indelec solutions.
  • Maintain a strong network of electrical contractors and system integrators.

3. Technical & Project Support

  • Deliver technical presentations, product demos and site visits.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for design proposals, technical documentation, and tender submissions.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing movements, and market trends.

4. Market Outreach

  • Participate in consultant meets, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Enhance brand visibility and support marketing initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience:

    5–8 years in B2B sales of electrical/industrial products (minimum 3 years in relevant regional sales).
  • Network:

    Strong relationships with EPC contractors and electrical consultants in Telangana & Andhra Pradesh.
  • Technical Knowledge:

    Understanding of electrical drawings, lightning protection systems, earthing standards.
  • Business Skills:

    Negotiation, project tracking, CRM usage, customer management.
  • Communication:

    Strong English + regional language proficiency.
  • Work Style:

    Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Mobility:

    Frequent travel across Telangana & Andhra Pradesh.
