Position Overview

Design Cell Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Lightning Protection & Earthing System Design

• Lead end-to-end design of Lightning Protection & Earthing Systems.
  
• Prepare BOQs, drawings, technical documentation and design reports.
  
• Use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, and NX-CAD for 2D/3D modelling.
  
• Conduct lightning risk assessments and prepare consultant-ready submissions.
  
• Provide technical support during project design finalization and installation stages.
  

2. Product Development & Engineering Support

• Support product development and testing activities as per IEC/IS/EN/BS standards.
  
• Coordinate with CPRI and accredited testing labs for certification.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams for engineering improvements and R&D inputs.
  

3. Customer & Market Interface

• Provide technical presentations and training to consultants, EPC contractors and project owners.
  
• Conduct site surveys and propose technically compliant solutions.
  
• Suggest value-engineering alternatives based on project needs.
  

4. Internal Governance & Team Leadership

• Establish and manage the Design Cell with standard templates and guidelines.
  
• Review designs prepared by team members and ensure compliance.
  
• Support sales teams nationwide with BOQs, drawings and technical clarifications.
  

Candidate Profile

Experience

• 812 years in Lightning Protection, Earthing Solutions, Product Design or Electrical Safety Engineering.
  

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, NX-CAD.
  
• Understanding of LPS standards: IEC / IS / EN / BS.
  
• Experience in BOQs, engineering documentation and design calculations.
  
• Exposure to ETAP Earth Grid Module is an advantage.
  

Core Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  
• Good communication, presentation and team leadership skills.
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.

CTC Details

• Fixed Salary:

  9.00 LPA

• Performance Variable:

  Up to 1.50 LPA (paid per semester)
