About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to

    grow business across North India

    , targeting:

State electricity boards and utilities

Renewable energy developers

Industrial clients

EPCs and turnkey contractors


  • Drive the

    end-to-end sales cycle

    , from opportunity identification and technical solutioning to proposal submission, negotiation, and contract finalization.
  • Work closely with internal engineering teams to offer

    customized, compliant solutions

    for cable jointing, terminations, and separable connectors.
  • Stay abreast of

    tendering processes

    , vendor registration protocols, and procurement frameworks within the utility and renewable segments.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, consultants, and influencers.
  • Represent COMPAQ at industry events,

    utility vendor meets, trade expos, and technical conferences

    across North India.
  • Generate market intelligence reports covering competitors, upcoming projects, and pricing trends.


Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field (master’s preferred).
  • 5–8 years of

    technical sales or business development experience

    in the MV/HV sector.
  • Strong product knowledge in:
  • Heat shrink / cold shrink joints & terminations

  • Separable connectors

  • Busbar insulation and surge protection


  • Experience in dealing with

    DISCOMs, Distribution & transmission utilities, renewable EPCs, and industrial consultants

    .
  • Familiarity with state-level procurement policies, and utility approvals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client engagement skills.
  • Fluent in English and Hindi.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the region.
