We are seeking a highly driven and technically sound Senior Sales Account Manager to expand our reach across the North Indian region , focusing on key sectors such as utilities, renewable energy, and industrial projects . This role is ideal for professionals with deep experience in medium and high-voltage cable accessories , and a strong network within government and private infrastructure segments. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow business across North India , targeting: o State electricity boards and utilities o Renewable energy developers o Industrial clients (steel, cement, chemical, data centers, etc.) o EPCs and turnkey contractors Drive the end-to-end sales cycle , from opportunity identification and technical solutioning to proposal submission, negotiation, and contract finalization. Work closely with internal engineering teams to offer customized, compliant solutions for cable jointing, terminations, and separable connectors. Stay abreast of tendering processes , vendor registration protocols, and procurement frameworks within the utility and renewable segments. Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, consultants, and influencers. Represent COMPAQ at industry events, utility vendor meets, trade expos, and technical conferences across North India. Generate market intelligence reports covering competitors, upcoming projects, and pricing trends. Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field (master’s preferred). 5–8 years of technical sales or business development experience in the MV/HV sector. Strong product knowledge in: Heat shrink / cold shrink joints & terminations Separable connectors Busbar insulation and surge protection Experience in dealing with DISCOMs, Distribution & transmission utilities, renewable EPCs, and industrial consultants . Familiarity with state-level procurement policies, and utility approvals. Excellent communication, negotiation, and client engagement skills. Fluent in English and Hindi.
