Location: Gurgaon About The Change Engine: Change Engine is an innovation ecosystem builder that seeks to address some of the toughest problems in India and take up initiatives which no one has done before. We look at addressing problems by building organisations/startups, helping in supporting organisations and individuals and looking at policy interventions. We are primarily focused on two themes: Artificial Intelligence Nonprofits for systemic impact. Our approach is to look at all these problems from first principles - develop a deep understanding of the problem and look for solutions based on it. We do this through three main avenues: ACE Startup Accelerator: ACE is a 6-month cohort based accelerator program to support and fund early stage startups in their 0 to 1 journey. Data Insights: We develop data-based insights into the current ecosystem, share learnings and potential interventions Public Tools: We build the ecosystem through How to startup guides, bootcamps, podcasts and hackathons. Change Engine is led by Varun Aggarwal . He is an entrepreneur (Aspiring Minds, $100M+ exit), AI researcher (1500+ citations) and author (science, deeptech and children books). Varun is joined by Shailendra Nath Jha (ISB alum, ex-MMT, nearbuy) and Shubham Bansal (IITD/EPFL alum, YC alum) in the Founding Team of Change Engine. In a short period of 2 years, we are working with 15 impact and AI organisations. We have worked closely with these organisations in problem discovery, product development and GTM. Our cohort organisations have raised $2M+ other than our catalytic funding in a short period. Our ecosystem insights have been covered in The Economic Times, Outlook, First Post, Wire and many more. About the role: Change Engine is expanding its team and looking for a Senior Recruitment Manager who can help hire top talent across levels and build a high-performing, mission-aligned team. In this role, you will serve as the go-to person for all recruitment needs — not just for Change Engine, but also for the AI startups and nonprofits we support. You’ll work directly with founders, act as the overall owner of talent across the ecosystem, and shape how Change Engine is positioned as an employer brand. We’re seeking someone who brings a strategic mindset to recruitment and executes with precision — ensuring we attract and hire exceptional individuals who align with our mission, values, and long-term vision. Responsibilities: Create clear and role-specific job descriptions across multiple functions Source, screen, and close candidates for different roles using platforms like LinkedIn, iimjobs, and other recruitment channels Review resumes, assess applications, and manage screening processes with a strong focus on skills, alignment, and cultural fit Identify and actively pursue top-tier candidates through headhunting, tapping into networks and industry connections Maintain data on hiring funnels and improve process efficiency to strengthen recruitment outcomes Requirements: 6+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally in fast-paced or entrepreneurial environments Strong communication and interpersonal skills — both with candidates and internal stakeholders. Proven track record in headhunting and engaging high-quality candidates (check if include) Experience using platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, iimjobs, Naukri, and others Comfortable managing multiple roles at once, across different functions and seniority levels.
