Job Description

Role Title: Senior Frontend Developer (React js Developer )

About The Opportunity

We are hiring for a senior frontend engineering role within a fast-moving enterprise software & digital product engineering environment serving B2B clients. The team builds responsive, high-performance web applications used by thousands of daily users, focusing on maintainability, accessibility, and measurable UX outcomes. This is an on-site position based in India for a company delivering mission-critical web platforms.Role & Responsibilities

Architect and implement scalable, reusable React components and feature-level modules using TypeScript and a component-driven workflow (Storybook/Design System).
Lead front-end delivery for complex features: from requirements and UX handoff to deployment, ensuring performance, accessibility, and test coverage.
Own state management, client-side data fetching patterns (REST/GraphQL), caching strategies and offline resiliency when required.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, Backend) to define APIs, optimize end-to-end flows, and mentor junior engineers.
Drive engineering excellence: implement CI/CD, code quality checks, automated testing, and monitoring for front-end services.
Profile, diagnose and resolve production performance and reliability issues; implement proactive performance budgets and metrics.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

5+ years professional experience building production React applications with modern patterns (hooks, functional components) and TypeScript.
Strong JavaScript fundamentals (ES6+), DOM manipulation, and cross-browser compatibility knowledge.
Experience with state management tools (Redux/RTK, Context) and client-side caching strategies.
Proven experience in writing unit/integration tests (Jest, React Testing Library) and setting up CI pipelines for front-end projects.
Familiarity with build tooling (Webpack, Vite), bundling optimization, and deployment best practices for web apps.
On-site availability in India and strong communication skills for collaborating across product and backend teams.

Preferred

Experience with Next.js or SSR/SSG frameworks and progressive enhancement strategies.
Knowledge of GraphQL (Apollo/URQL) and real-time data handling (WebSockets/EventSource).
Background in Design Systems, accessibility (WCAG/ARIA) and performance profiling tools (Lighthouse, WebPageTest).
Familiarity with containerized deployment, edge CDNs, and observability (Sentry, NewRelic) for front-end errors.
Proven track record mentoring engineers and influencing product/architecture decisions.
