Senior Quality Engineer

🛠️ What You'll Do

Test Strategy & Planning

• Define and lead test strategies aligned to business and architectural needs.
• Create test plans ensuring clarity, traceability, and risk coverage.
• Drive test estimation, scope discussions, and prioritisation.

Automation & Framework Development

• Design and maintain scalable UI, API, and integration automation frameworks (

  Selenium, Playwright

  , Cypress, etc.).
• Build reusable automation components and integrate into CI/CD.
• Monitor stability, coverage, and performance of automated suites.

Functional & Non-Functional Testing

• Execute functional, regression, exploratory, performance, and security testing.
• Analyse performance issues and collaborate with engineers to resolve bottlenecks.
• Apply strong test design methodologies (BVA, risk-based, equivalence partitioning).

Leadership, Mentoring & Collaboration

• Coach and mentor Quality Engineers on best practices and tooling.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and analysts.
• Advocate for quality-first mindset and shift-left testing practices.

Continuous Improvement

• Lead initiatives to uplift QA maturity, processes, and documentation.
• Strengthen automation coverage, quality metrics, and testing standards.
• Contribute actively to Talink’s QA community of practice.

🧠 What You Bring

Technical Skills

• Strong automation skills across UI and API frameworks.
• Experience with performance tools (JMeter, k6) and security testing principles.
• Good understanding of CI/CD and cloud testing (Azure preferred).
• Experience with mocks, stubs, and test data management.

Experience

• 4–6 years in hands-on software testing roles.
• Proven ability to lead test efforts within Agile teams.
• Demonstrated success implementing automation in CI pipelines.

Soft Skills

• Clear communicator with strong coaching and stakeholder skills.
• Analytical thinker who can troubleshoot ambiguity with confidence.
• Passionate about quality, continuous improvement, and high-impact delivery.
