Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

Position: Quality Assurance (Manual / Automation Tester)

Experience: 7+ Years

Location: Coimbatore

Domain Preference: Finance, Shipping, eCommerce (preferred, not mandatory)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Quality Assurance professional with 7+years of experience to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate should have strong manual testing experience, with automation testing skills considered a plus. You will collaborate closely with the QA Lead, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure that all technology solutions meet quality standards and are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and manage detailed test plans and test cases efficiently.
• Ensure all testing pre-requisites and entry criteria are met.
• Validate progress, defect logs, test reports, and MOMs during the QA lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to address and resolve testing issues.
• Review and sign off test documentation and defect categorization.
• Allocate and monitor testing tasks for DIT and UAT phases.
• Perform UAT spot checks and ensure alignment with test objectives.
• Analyze defects, assess impact on timelines, and report insights promptly.
• Generate clear and comprehensive QA reports.

Requirements

• 7+ years of QA experience in the IT industry.
• Strong skills in manual testing; automation knowledge is an added advantage.
• Good understanding of agile methodologies, tools like JIRA, and project workflows.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to handle tight deadlines and perform root cause analysis quickly.
• Domain knowledge in finance, shipping, or eCommerce is highly desirable.
• Passion for quality, proactive mindset, and eagerness to learn emerging tech.
