Major Responsibilities

• Understand product requirements and translate them into comprehensive

  test plans and test cases

  .
• Collaborate with developers to discuss story design, test cases, and participate in code walkthroughs.
• Create and execute

  test strategies

  and

  regression test plans

  across multiple product modules.
• Design and maintain robust

  test frameworks

  .
• Execute manual and automated tests, identify issues, and work closely with developers to resolve them.
• Review

  unit test coverage

  , provide feedback, and recommend improvements to enhance test coverage.
• Automate

  integration and end-to-end tests

  using tools such as

  JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, and Test Bench

  .

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Experience)

• 4–6 years

  of experience in

  web application testing and test automation

  .
• Hands-on exposure to

  test design techniques

  (boundary value, equivalence partitioning, decision tables, etc.).
• Hands-on programming experience in

  Java

  – ability to read, understand, and review code.
• Strong knowledge of

  SQL

  with ability to write and validate queries.
• Experience with

  Cucumber

  for behavior-driven and use case-driven test automation.
• Strong expertise with

  Selenium WebDriver

  for UI test automation.
• Exposure to

  Web Services

  deployment using

  JBoss (SOA preferred)

  Apache Tomcat
