Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer to drive test automation strategy, build reliable and scalable automation suites, and mentor junior QA engineers. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with modern test frameworks, passionate about automation, and able to enforce best practices that improve product quality and release velocity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end automated test suites using Playwright.
• Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks in Java or JavaScript.
• Implement and execute test strategies using TestNG/JUnit.
• Manage build and test execution using Gradle.
• Mentor junior QA engineers, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to automation best practices.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to define and improve testing strategies.
• Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve automation/test execution issues.
• Champion automation-first QA culture across the organization.

Tech Stack & Skills Required

• Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing.
• Strong proficiency in Java or JavaScript.
• Experience with TestNG / JUnit frameworks.
• Proficiency in Gradle build tool.
• Solid understanding of testing strategies and QA methodologies.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and drive team-wide quality practices.
• Experience conducting code reviews and enforcing best practices.
• Passion for test automation and scalable test systems.
• AI/ML testing exposure is a plus.
