Lead Java Developer

As a Senior Java Developer Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Java developers to design, build, and deploy scalable backend systems. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product Management is essential to drive architecture decisions and ensure the implementation of clean, maintainable code. Conducting code reviews, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing best practices for testing and debugging will be part of your regular tasks. It is crucial to stay updated with the latest industry trends and introduce relevant technologies or practices to the team. Your technical skills must include proficiency in QBase Systems, API Gateway / Controllers, Docker, Java, Spring Boot, Microservices / REST API, Gradle or Maven, GIT, MySQL, SQL, or MongoDB, Testing / Debugging / Unit Testing, and Design Patterns along with clean architecture principles. Good-to-have skills include experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS or Azure, and Event-driven or queue-based architecture such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (a Master's degree is a plus). Additionally, you should possess 7-10 years of professional experience in backend Java development, with at least 2 years of experience in a technical leadership or team lead role. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to make sound architectural decisions, excellent communication, and leadership abilities are essential for success in this position.,
