Lead Java Developer

Key Responsibilities: - Lead a talented engineering team to develop and enhance the API platform for agriculture insurance. - Create innovative components in a rapidly evolving market to enhance scalability and efficiency. - Produce high-quality, production-ready code that caters to a large user base. - Make informed design decisions focusing on performance, scalability, and future growth. - Provide technical leadership to mobile and web development engineers, fostering knowledge sharing and driving code quality initiatives. - Write clean, extensible, and high-performance code. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality software within project timelines. - Work closely with product management and other teams to define the technical vision and roadmap. - Contribute to all phases of the software development life cycle, including design, implementation, testing, and automation. - Develop efficient microservice components on cloud platforms. - Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and offer technical guidance to the team. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 10 years of experience in Java Development. - Demonstrated track record of building and deploying high-quality backend API components. - Proficiency in selecting, configuring, and integrating 3rd party SaaS or COTS solutions. - Strong hands-on development experience in Spring Boot and JPA. - Solid SQL skills and familiarity with relational and non-relational databases such as Postgres, Oracle, and Mongo. - Extensive experience in building interfaces between cloud solutions, API management, and development. - Practical experience with Scrum or similar agile methodologies. - Experience with the Azure platform would be advantageous. - Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence.
