Role Description

Job Summary:

Senior Purchase Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and manage procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budget.
• Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors for construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, MEP, finishing, etc.).
• Negotiate terms, pricing, delivery, and payment schedules with vendors to secure cost-effective deals.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders ensuring timely material delivery to project sites.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with site teams to ensure availability of required materials.
• Maintain accurate procurement records including purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with engineering, project, and finance teams to align purchasing with project goals.
• Ensure vendor compliance with company policies, safety, quality standards, and legal requirements.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships and continuously explore cost-saving opportunities.
• Forecast procurement needs based on project schedules and BOQs.
• Resolve supplier disputes and delivery issues in a timely and effective manner.
