Role Description Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Purchase Manager for our construction operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all procurement activities including sourcing, vendor development, contract negotiation, cost control, material delivery timelines, and compliance with quality standards specific to construction projects. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement and manage procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budget. Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors for construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, MEP, finishing, etc.). Negotiate terms, pricing, delivery, and payment schedules with vendors to secure cost-effective deals. Prepare and issue purchase orders ensuring timely material delivery to project sites. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with site teams to ensure availability of required materials. Maintain accurate procurement records including purchase orders, delivery schedules, and supplier performance. Collaborate with engineering, project, and finance teams to align purchasing with project goals. Ensure vendor compliance with company policies, safety, quality standards, and legal requirements. Develop and maintain vendor relationships and continuously explore cost-saving opportunities. Forecast procurement needs based on project schedules and BOQs. Resolve supplier disputes and delivery issues in a timely and effective manner.
