Senior Purchase Manager

You will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement processes for both commodity and non-commodity items. This includes negotiating contracts and prices with suppliers to achieve cost savings and ensure quality. Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers will be crucial to ensure smooth supply chain operations. It will be your responsibility to monitor market trends to identify new sourcing opportunities and ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations. Collaboration with internal teams such as production, finance, and quality assurance will be necessary to meet business needs. Additionally, you will be preparing procurement reports, maintaining accurate purchase records, and providing leadership and mentorship to junior procurement staff. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in purchase management within the FMCG industry. Candidates with experience in procurement of FMCG products, including agri-based raw materials such as paddy, rice, etc., will be preferred. Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills are essential. Knowledge of procurement software and ERP systems is a plus. A Bachelors degree from a recognised University is required for this position.,
