Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Product Owner with a proven product mindset and a genuine passion for problem-solving. This role is ideal for a curious, user-obsessed professional who thrives on crafting exceptional digital experiences within a complex, multi-system environment. 

We aim to optimize the experience for clients and providers in the healthcare space by maximizing the use of technology. Your core focus will be to actively investigate, identify, and resolve deep user pain points by strategically building, integrating, and optimizing digital tools that impact how our users (healthcare providers and clients) get their work done. 

Your expertise in digital products and user experience (UX) is an asset as you will be the primary champion for usability, leveraging your skills to deliver intuitive solutions even as we partner heavily with various external platforms (Electronic Medical Records (EMR), call center, Google Workspace, etc.). Responsibilities:

  • Digital experience and user advocacy

  • Be the Voice of the User: Champion a deeply user-centric approach across the entire product lifecycle. 
  • UX Research and Testing: Design and execute best practices for user research, usability testing, and data analysis to deeply understand user workflows and friction points, translating these findings into tangible product requirements. 
  • Define and communicate design: Translate insights into clear, actionable design specifications (e.g., user flows, wireframes, detailed functional requirements) that ensure a consistent, intuitive, and effective digital experience. 
  • Data-driven: Proactively monitor product usage data and user feedback to identify high-impact areas for optimization and feature development.
  • Product strategy and ecosystem integration

  • Own the Product Roadmap for key digital features, prioritizing initiatives that maximize business value while ensuring a high standard of experience. 
  • Prioritize workload: Manage, groom, and prioritize the product backlog, translating strategic goals into clear, high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria for the engineering team. 
  • Navigate a complex vendor ecosystem: Strategically plan and manage solutions that require integrating our SaaS platform with a variety of external vendor platforms, including Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), call centre systems, Google Workspace, and other enterprise tools. 
  • Creative problem solving: Identify and define innovative integration strategies, balancing opportunities to build new, ground-up digital experiences where possible, against the necessity to creatively optimize existing vendor platforms.


Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in the digital product space (e.g., as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role).
  • Strong Digital Product background: Demonstrated experience defining, launching, iterating, and optimizing on successful digital experiences (SaaS, Web, or Mobile) in any industry, with track record of driving outcomes measured by data.
  • Proven UX/Design Thinking: Must have experience in leveraging UX research and usability testing to directly inform and specify product features.
  • Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically when finding solutions through multiple vendor platforms or APIs to create a unified user flow. 
  • Data-informed decision making: Proven ability to analyze quantitative data and synthesize qualitative insights to make informed product decisions and demonstrate clear ROI. 
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business, user, and technical needs. 
  • Nice to have: 
  • Experience with SaaS, particularly with platforms that serve other B2B clients. 
  • Familiarity with the healthcare domain or Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR). 
  • Developed experiences for B2C and B2C users
