We are looking for a Product Manager who is passionate about building a scalable, reliable, and developer-friendly platform. As a Product Manager at DigitalOcean, you will join a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing cloud computing and AI. You will partner with engineering and design peers, and will play a key role in shaping the foundation of our platform services that power products across the company. The ideal candidate thrives in highly technical environments, leads with curiosity and empathy, and grows into a trusted voice.

What You'll Do:

  • Own and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the products and features, from conception to launch and beyond.
  • Drive the roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders, balancing both business and technical requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and project plans, working closely with various cross-functional teams.
  • Define KPIs to measure success of the prioritized work, monitor performance, and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME), staying informed about industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Engage with customers, internal teams, and other external stakeholders to gather insights, identify opportunities, and ensure we are meeting customer needs.
  • Coordinate with support and training teams to develop user manuals, PRFAQ's, and other customer-facing materials.

  • Technical Acumen: Ability to grasp and explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Communication Skills: Clear, concise, and influential communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Customer-Centric: Proven track record of translating customer needs into impactful product features.
  • Problem-Solving: Creative and strategic thinking applied to complex challenges with measurable outcomes.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
  • Organizational Skills: Effective prioritization and management of multiple initiatives simultaneously.

What You'll Add to DigitalOcean:

  • 3+ years of experience in product management within a SaaS or technology company.
  • Proven ability to improve customer-facing features, focusing on user experience and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong experience working with internal teams to improve tools and processes.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to make informed decisions and prioritize product development efforts.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with customer support tools and platforms, and how they interact with account management processes.
  • Experience working within agile product development environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud hosting and virtualization technologies.
