Job Description

Role Overview: As a Piping Procurement Engineer or Senior Piping Procurement Engineer at our organization, you will be responsible for end-to-end procurement of key project packages which include piping, structural steel, reinforcement steel, cement, and civil bulk materials. Your duties will involve managing RFQs, bid evaluations, vendor negotiations, issuing purchase orders, coordinating with engineering and site teams, liaising with vendors, tracking deliveries, maintaining procurement logs, and ensuring compliance with internal procurement procedures and project requirements. For the Senior Piping Procurement Engineer role, additional responsibilities include leading procurement strategy for multiple projects, developing key vendor relationships, mentoring junior procurement staff, and supporting strategic sourcing initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Procure key project packages such as piping, structural steel, reinforcement steel, cement, and civil bulk materials - Manage RFQs, bid evaluations, vendor negotiations, and issuing purchase orders - Coordinate with engineering and site teams, liaise with vendors, and track deliveries - Maintain procurement logs and ensure compliance with internal procurement procedures and project requirements - Lead procurement strategy for multiple projects (Senior Piping Procurement Engineer) - Develop key vendor relationships, mentor junior procurement staff, and support strategic sourcing initiatives (Senior Piping Procurement Engineer) Qualification Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering - 5+ years of relevant procurement experience for Piping Procurement Engineer role or 10+ years for Senior Piping Procurement Engineer role in an EPC environment - Experience in sourcing and managing materials for piping, structural steel, and cement/civil works - Strong knowledge of industry standards and hands-on experience with ERP systems - Excellent negotiation and communication skills Additional Company Details: (Omitting as no additional company details are provided in the job description),
