This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced engineering team focused on building reliable, secure, and scalable platforms. As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will design and automate infrastructure solutions that accelerate development, simplify deployments, and strengthen system resilience. You will work on cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and automation frameworks, driving improvements across development and operations. The role involves collaboration with multiple teams, solving complex technical challenges, and implementing best practices for DevOps. This is a hands-on position where your expertise will directly contribute to operational excellence, developer productivity, and customer success.
Accountabilities
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based solutions to streamline deployment, availability, and operations
- Continuously enhance infrastructure to be secure, scalable, fault-tolerant, and easy to deploy
- Build and maintain tools, microservices, and automation to support development, test, and production environments
- Automate operational processes to ensure compliance with security standards
- Implement automated testing and monitoring for infrastructure integrity and performance
- Collaborate with Engineering, QA, SRE, Product, and Customer Success teams to resolve complex issues
- Document solutions and troubleshooting processes for complex systems
- Build CI/CD solutions to enable faster, more reliable deployments
- Establish and promote DevOps best practices within the organization
Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and a proactive mindset.
- 3-5 years of experience in DevOps engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud, AI tools, and GitHub Actions
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Shell/Bash
- Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Terraform, JFrog, and CloudFormation
- Solid knowledge of Linux systems (Ubuntu/CentOS) and network administration
- Experience with SQL, Postgres, Elasticsearch, or Redis
- Expertise in container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm) and Helm charts
- Familiarity with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle)
- Experience with cloud networking (DNS, WAF, Security Groups, NACL) and user management (IAM, STS, roles, groups)
- Knowledge of CI/CD platforms like GitLab CI, TeamCity, or GitHub Actions
- Experience with observability tools and monitoring platforms
- Strong problem-solving, adaptability, and a continuous learning mindset
