We are Hiring for Senior Plant HR for our Plastic injection Molding Component in Irungattukottai

Job Summary:


The Plant HR will oversee end-to-end HR operations at the manufacturing facility, ensure compliance with labor laws, support workforce planning, drive HR processes, and maintain a healthy, productive work environment that aligns with the organizations business goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and exit processes for plant employees.
  • Ensure manpower planning, shift management, and staffing are aligned with production requirements.
  • Maintain and update employee records, attendance, and HR systems.

2. Statutory Compliance & Labor Law Management

  • Ensure 100 percent compliance with statutory requirements: PF, ESI, Factories Act, Shops & Establishments, standing orders, and other applicable labor laws.
  • Liaise with government bodies, auditors, and external agencies for inspections and documentation.
  • Maintain statutory registers, returns, and reports as per legal requirements.

3. Employee Relations & Workplace Discipline

  • Handle grievance management, conflict resolution, and employee engagement at the plant.
  • Maintain discipline on the shop floor and implement policies consistently.
  • Foster a positive work culture that supports safety, quality, and productivity.

4. Performance Management & Training

  • Drive goal-setting, performance reviews, and competency-based evaluations.
  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs for shop-floor and staff employees.
  • Support leadership development and succession planning at the plant level.

5. Payroll & HRMIS

  • Coordinate monthly payroll inputs, leave management, overtime, and shift allowances.
  • Work with finance/payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely salary processing.

6. Health, Safety & Welfare

  • Work closely with EHS and plant management to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Implement welfare measures, canteen management, transport coordination, and other employee services.

7. HR Strategy & Continuous Improvement

  • Support HR policy implementation and standardization across the plant.
  • Drive HR initiatives such as engagement programs, retention strategies, and productivity-linked initiatives.
  • Provide HR analytics and MIS reports to management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in HR, IR, Social Work, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliance, and factory HR operations.
  • Proven experience in managing HR functions in a manufacturing environment (preferably plastics or automotive).
  • Ability to handle employee relations, union/non-union environments, and shop-floor HR challenges.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in HRMS tools, MS Office, and payroll processes.
