Senior Patent Analyst – ICT Searching will be responsible for independently executing and delivering high-quality patent search and analysis projects. The role is ideal for professionals with strong technical acumen and an interest in intellectual property. Based in Gurugram, this position involves working closely with global clients, patent attorneys, inventors, and R&D teams across cutting-edge technology domains.
Specifically, the Senior Patent Analyst will
- Conduct various patent search and analysis projects, including:
- Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) searches
- Patentability/novelty searches
- Technology landscape and white space analysis
- Competitor monitoring and IP strategy mapping
- Analyze and summarize search results with deep technical and legal insights
- Prepare clear, value-added reports and project deliverables
- Ensure thoroughness, timeliness, and high quality across all assigned tasks
- Work independently and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders such as IP Counsels, Attorneys, and Inventors
- Utilize online databases and information resources efficiently for technical and patent searches
Experience
- 3 to 5 years in patent searching or related IP roles
- Exposure to international clients and patent law understanding preferred

- Telecommunications

- Video codecs, wireless standards
- Payment architecture, mobile apps
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Patent databases and online research tools (implied)
- Understanding of IP laws and patent-related procedures
