Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle APEX Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-grade Oracle APEX applications. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and DevOps teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance applications in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Responsibilities: Lead architecture, design, and development of complex Oracle APEX applications. Manage end-to-end SDLC: requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and support. Write efficient SQL and PL/SQL code (triggers, packages, procedures). Implement advanced APEX components like Dynamic Actions, Interactive Reports, and Universal Theme customizations. Integrate RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and external data sources with APEX. Ensure compliance with APEX security best practices: authentication, authorization, and data protection. Optimize performance through query tuning, indexing, and UI responsiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scalable and maintainable solutions. Mentor junior developers and lead APEX code reviews and standards. Manage version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment tools. Required Skills: 8+ years of hands-on Oracle APEX development experience. Advanced proficiency in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL, including performance tuning. Strong experience in APEX components: Shared Components, Page Processes, JET Charts, and Custom Themes. Skilled in JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and CSS for front-end enhancements. Experience with Oracle APEX security models (SSO, OAuth, LDAP, RBAC). Proven track record integrating RESTful APIs and web services (JSON, XML, ORDS). Deep understanding of Oracle database internals and performance optimization. Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and DevOps practices. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in APEX plugin development. Oracle Forms to APEX migration experience. Exposure to Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) or front-end frameworks (React, Angular). Deployment experience on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, or Azure.
