Senior Officer - Techno Commercial

Purpose/Objective

The Team Member – P2D plays a key role in executing procurement operations from requisition to receipt. This includes processing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, ensuring compliance with statutory and governance requirements, and supporting operational issue resolution. The role contributes to the efficiency and accuracy of procurement transactions within SAP and Ariba systems, aligned with the strategic goals of the Global Capability Centre (GCC).

Key Responsibilities of Role

Procurement Execution:- Convert purchase requisitions (PR) into purchase orders (PO) using SAP/Ariba. - Coordinate with suppliers for order acknowledgments and dispatch readiness. - Manage PO amendments, cancellations, and extensions as per business needs. Compliance & Coordination:- Ensure adherence to Delegation of Authority (DOA), GST, eWay bills, and other statutory requirements. - Monitor contract and PO compliance, proactively addressing exceptions. Operational Support:- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for delays or data errors. - Escalate unresolved issues to the Lead – P2D for timely resolution. - Maintain SLA/KPI adherence for procurement processes. Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement:- Serve as the first point of contact for vendor and business unit queries. - Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, operations, finance) for issue resolution. - Support process improvement initiatives and automation testing. Continuous Improvement & Governance:- Implement issue and escalation trackers and ensure timely closure of corrective/preventive actions. - Work with GCC TC Head on performance improvement and continuity plans. - Drive a customer-centric culture through process awareness and governance training.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications & Experience: Education: - Graduate in Engineering, Commerce, or Management. - Preferred certifications in Procurement, Techno-Commercial Operations, or Supply Chain. Experience: - 2–5 years in procurement operations, PO processing, or techno-commercial roles.
