About the Company We are seeking a skilled and proactive Tier 2 Network Engineer – Escalation to join our dynamic support team. This role is pivotal in diagnosing and resolving complex network issues escalated from Tier 1 support, ensuring seamless customer experiences across our product lines. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in routing and switching, advanced troubleshooting tools, and effective case management using JIRA. About the Role This role is pivotal in diagnosing and resolving complex network issues escalated from Tier 1 support, ensuring seamless customer experiences across our product lines. Responsibilities Provide advanced technical support for Ubiquiti’s products, including wireless technologies, routing and switching, security, VPNs, and surveillance systems. Analyze and resolve escalated network issues, employing tools such as Wireshark for packet analysis and conducting thorough root cause investigations. Effective Ticket/Case Handling Issue/Bugs reporting to the development team using the JIRA Management Tool. Recreate customer environments in internal labs to replicate and troubleshoot reported issues. Stay abreast of the latest networking trends and Ubiquiti product developments to provide informed support and recommendations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role. Proficient in routing and switching protocols, with hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting network devices. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex network data and logs. Experience with network diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, iPerf, and others. Familiarity with JIRA or similar case management systems. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-centric approach. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Required Skills Strong expertise in routing and switching, & Wireless Advanced troubleshooting tools like Wireshark, Packet Capture, iPerf, etc Preferred Skills Experience with network diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, iPerf, and others.
