Expertise in the security of enterprise networks Expert knowledge and hands on experience with Palo Alto Firewall technology and Panorama (including code upgrades, bug scrubs, and installation of firewall appliance)
Broad experience in Firewalls, IPS/IDS, and Threat Prevention Advanced level Understanding of OSPF, BGP, VPLS and MPLS and various routing technologies Expert knowledge and in-depth experience to troubleshoot all layers of the OSI model, acting as the firewall SME during incidents
Experience with NX-OS, IOS, SD-WAN, PANOS, or FTD In-depth and hands-on experience with at least 2 of the following compliance requirements: PCI DSS,
SOC 2, HIPAA/HITRUST and ISO 27001. Experience with automation tools Experience with monitoring tools like ThousandEyes and Solarwinds In-depth experience with security best practices including risk remediations of firewall rules Expert knowledge of SSL, and VPN Candidates must have led technical projects related to network security and be able to lead projects with minimal supervision

Key Responsibilities :
Support and maintain current network infrastructure
Create and maintain procedural and operational documentation Provide firewall SME escalation support for the Network Operations Center, providing resolution for complex networking issues Execute complex upgrades and implementations following internal change control Identify opportunities for automation, cost savings and service quality improvements Collaborate with global operations teams to enhance current process and procedures Maintain awareness of technology trends, help identify and remediate gaps in deployment strategy Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management Capacity Management Collaborate with peers to develop documentation for standard practices. Proactively research new technologies Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives. Respond to inquiries from client, staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors and etc to provide technical assistance and support Security Audit compliance Operational-related Moves, Adds, Changes, and Deletes (MACD) Adherence to Operational Standards Compliance with Engineering Design Standards and established operational processes Participate in the Development Maintenance of operational documentation, to include updating Engineering documentation changes due to operational changes, escalation procedures vendor contracts. Maintain an organization-wide view of current and future IT architectures in support of company goals and objectives Provide Root Cause Analysis for Network Events Detailed analysis and peer review of change implementation plans, identifying potential gaps in implementation Other duties as assigned by management
Education / Certifications
bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or experience in related field.
Current CCNP or equivalent certification ITIL Ver. 3.0 or Ver. 4.0
