Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support advanced data center networking solutions. The role focuses on ensuring high network performance, scalability, and reliability in complex, high-performance computing and AI environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with next-generation network hardware and a deep understanding of data center architectures.

Network Design & Implementation

• Design and configure data center networks, including leaf-spine architectures, high-speed Ethernet, and InfiniBand topologies.

• Deploy, integrate, and support NVIDIA (Mellanox) and Supermicro-compatible network hardware.

• Implement network segmentation, QoS, redundancy, and performance optimization strategies.

Network Operations & Support

• Provide L2/L3 remote network support for data center and enterprise environments.

• Monitor network performance using tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Prometheus.

• Perform root-cause analysis, firmware upgrades, configuration backups, and manage change control for routers, switches, and firewalls.

Security & Compliance

• Enforce network security policies and manage firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA).

• Configure and maintain VPNs, ACLs, VLANs, and multi-site connectivity securely and efficiently.

• Ensure compliance with internal and customer security standards.

Collaboration & Documentation

• Work closely with Systems Engineers, Program Managers, and OEM partners (NVIDIA, Supermicro, Mellanox).

• Maintain accurate network diagrams, technical documentation, and SOPs.

• Support pre-sales and technical discussions for data center networking solutions.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Stay updated with emerging technologies in AI fabrics, SDN, and data center networking.

• Recommend design enhancements to improve scalability, reliability, and performance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in network design, implementation, and support within data center or enterprise environments.

• Expertise in Layer 2/3 networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN).

• Hands-on experience with NVIDIA/Mellanox networking (Spectrum switches, Cumulus Linux, InfiniBand).

• Strong background in Cisco, Juniper, or Arista switches and firewalls.

• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Python scripting.

• Familiarity with network virtualization and SDN concepts (NSX, ACI) is a plus.

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities across technical teams.

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing remote operations independently.

• Cisco CCNP / CCIE (Data Center or Enterprise Infrastructure)

• NVIDIA Certified Networking Professional

• Juniper JNCIP or equivalent
