An Associate Solution Architect is a strategic resource for Granicus, responsible for managing the technical aspects of our competitive bids, responding to security questionnaires, and cross-functionally supporting other teams across Granicus. This role is able to read technical requirements and will learn to properly design a solution that meets those needs, all while improving the way we respond and manage our technical response library. An Associate Solution Architect is able to then demonstrate, internally, their shiny new proposed solution using our live environments and content. An Associate Solution Architect brings technical knowledge to the job and is able to read API documentation, is able to technically configure our solutions, understand security best practices, and can articulate these technical aspects of our job to non-technical people. We additionally rely on this role to fulfill non-revenue demand for solution expertise from other teams – working with Implementation, Customer Success, Product, Proposal, and Support teams to respond to technical questions and challenges. Note: The Associate Solution Architect is non-client-facing role within the Pre-Sales organization of Granicus. As you embrace the role of Associate Solution Architect, you'll continuously develop and hone your skills. As your journey continues, the expectation is that with time you'll evolve, gain the necessary pre-sales and business acumen to become part of the the client-facing Solution Architect team. #India What You'll Do Working with Proposal, Customer Success, Product, Support, Security, and Implementation teams to respond to technical questions. Though this role, is not directly client-facing, you will support the Sr. Architects, who do meet with agencies to present their proposed solution to address the agencies' challenge. Drafting technical requirements and updating and improving them over time, as needed. Using development and sandbox environments to test conceptual solutions and integrations. With guidance and coaching from the Sr. Solution Architects and Solution Architect Manager, you'll develop and gain the foundations on your journey to become a strategic sales and technical resource for the entire company. Responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs. Maintaining a library of technical capabilities that are used in these RFPs. Responding to formal customer technical needs, such as Security Questionnaires. Learning the full suite of the Granicus platform through constant training, reading product releases, and internal product discussions Day In the Life Here are some scenarios you can't expect to encounter in your day-to-day in this role: An RFP has come in with technical requirements that need responding to, line-by-line. You'll use our existing library of technical responses to determine the best response to use based on the solution you propose. A scoping request has come in and you will work with the requester, the agency, and the implementation team to properly scope the solution and document your recommendations. The Platform team needs a working example of three different solutions, working together that sales and marketing can use for go-to-market needs. You build an example, using out-of-the-box configurations as well as the available APIs, to build a demonstrable solution. An existing client submits a Security Questionnaire as a part of a renewal. You'll respond to the questions and source any clarifying responses from the Security and Product teams. Advanced Scenarios, opportunities to shadow and learn from our Sr. Solution Architects: A mix of products was sold to a client, and the implementation team needs assistance on how best to integrate the solutions for the specific use case/need of the agency. You'll shadow a Sr. Solution Architect who grabs time with their team to discuss the needs and propose a path forward for making the integrations work, often by demonstrating it in a sandbox environment. An agency has selected Granicus as a finalist in a competitive bid and requests a demonstration of the solution (that a Sr. Solution Architect previously) proposed. You'll work with and take guidance from the Sr. Solution to prep for and provide a live demonstration, (performed by the Sr. Solution Architect), of the proposed solution and answer any clarifying questions the agency has. Who You Are Our Associates Solution Architects spend approximately two years learning our products through their contributions of technical requirement responses, completing coursework in our LMS, managing our content library, and shadowing other consultants. Associate Solution Architects are, therefore, a critical part of our team's growth, and we focus heavily on their learning progression through company-provided education opportunities and dedicated team member mentorship.
