What You’ll Be Doing...
As a Senior Manager in Bill2Cash area, you will play a critical role in driving delivery excellence by leading the team into achieving the KPIs of minimizing Verizon's exposure to Fraudsters, reducing fraud losses and reducing Fraud investigators' manual effort in both Business and Consumer segments. You will collaborate closely with Business and Consumer groups, understand the pain points with respect to fraud and help delivering solutions to our cross portfolio partners. You will work closely with Fraud strategy teams to understand the multiple scenarios accentuating fraud losses, and help in coming up with means to minimize the losses. You will work on building a high performing team, and leading the team from front to be accountable, take ownership and build credibility. You will also closely with vendor partners right from sourcing to making them accountable for the timeliness and quality of their deliverables.
- Ensure that resources are properly staffed to manage the expected workload
- Partner across peer teams to drive expectations around deliverables
- Enable an inclusive culture focused on driving an environment or innovation, appreciation, and delivering on results
- Interact with a variety of Verizon personnel at all levels of the organization, as well as interfacing with many different customers
- Manage escalations with a sense of urgency with the goal to restore and resolve customer while providing periodic executive updates as needed
What We’re Looking For Someone Who Can
- demonstrate strong people Leadership skills in managing enterprise applications, work in ambiguity, deal with complex biz process
- collaborate with technical and stakeholders; and apply their business acumen to design, structure, and deliver impactful and relevant insights to these business partners. Furthermore, you should be comfortable analyzing and putting forth recommendations based on the derived insights.
- prove to be self-driven and proactive with relevant work experience in Software development
- demonstrate critical thinking skills (i.e. business acumen) and remain curious to evolve their knowledge of the business, industry and competitive trends and technology to put results and insights in a proper context
- Build strong collaborations with our business partners to prioritize and align on work efforts, deliverables, and how our analyses will be delivered (i.e. negotiations and stakeholder management)
- Participating in the development of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation, testing and ongoing support of systems.
- engage in engineering discussions, contributing to the conversation, providing your own opinions, asking thoughtful questions for clarification, and enriching the environment.
- Communicate with stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Mentor and lead team members on analysis, visualization, and presentation skills

You’ll Need To Have
- Bachelor’s degree and six or more years of relevant work experience
- Proven skills in Full Stack technologies - Java/J2EE, Oracle, Angular, ReactJS
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- A Masters degree.
- Ability to adapt to change – openness to different viewpoints and ability to learn new skills and concepts as our business transforms.
- Exposure to AI/ML
- Working knowledge of scripting languages. Ideally, Python
