Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end

    design & development of Higher HP tractors

    (Powertrain, Transmission, Driveline, Chassis, Hydraulics).

  • Own

    platform architecture, system layout, and design strategy

    for higher HP range.

  • Ensure compliance with

    AIS / CMVR / BS emission norms

    .

  • Drive

    DFMEA, DVP&R, design reviews, and validation activities


  • Collaborate with

    Manufacturing, Quality, Purchase, Testing, and After-Sales

    teams.

  • Support

    prototype build, pilot trials, SOP, and field issue resolution

    .

  • Mentor and guide design engineers; act as

    technical owner

    for the HP vertical.

  • Drive

    cost reduction, value engineering, and localization initiatives

    .

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong expertise in

    Higher HP Tractor systems (50 HP and above)

    .

  • Hands-on experience in

    Transmission, Driveline, Chassis & Powertrain integration

    .

  • Strong system-level understanding of

    tractor aggregates


  • Proficiency in

    Solid edge/ CATIA / SolidWorks

    and PLM tools.

  • Good command over

    GD&T, BOMs, and manufacturing processes

    .

  • Knowledge of

    homologation, emissions & regulatory norms


  • Experience in

    testing, validation, and failure analysis
