Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Oversee the complete bus body design lifecycle, from concept and feasibility studies to detailed engineering and production support
Ensure all designs meet stringent safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
Drive innovation in materials selection, lightweighting, and manufacturing processes to improve vehicle performance, fuel efficiency, and sustainability
Act as the primary technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers
Develop and implement project management methodologies and tools to track progress and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
Provide strategic input on new product development, design improvements, and market opportunities
Collaborate regularly with cross-functional teams including Program Management, Marketing, and Service to track project progress, gather market inputs, and percolate it to the respective teams.
Proactively identify project risks and bottlenecks and highlight critical issues to top management when necessary to achieve project timelines.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information to diverse audiences

Preferred candidate profile:

Bachelors/Masters in Engineering
Exp: 8 - 18 Years
