-Role & responsibilities Thorough knowledge of commodity parts- Interior, Exterior parts & its manufacturing process like Injection Moulding, Blow Moulding, Roto Moulding, Compression Moulding, Vacuum forming, IMD(In Mould Decoration) etc. • Provide support and involvement in new product development, identifying and driving improvements through early involvement in product development Process and completion of PPAP • Drive collaboration with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes and monitoring results. • Monitor supplies quality performance measures, supplier audits and Supplier Corrective Action Plan (SCAP), etc. • Ensuring lessons learnt from similar product families are implemented for new product development as input for prevention of known issues. • Develop and ensure implementation of process norms for management of suppliers by : - Verification of products and process at suppliers. - Evaluation of supplier's performance and monitor the improvement plans - Enhance technical capabilities of supplier through systems and knowledge upgradations • Plan and Conduct Supplier process & Product audits, concern based audits as per requirements. • Tracking, monitoring & resolution of concern reported from assembly line, Field, User plant for Trims Interior & Exterior critical part • Perform the role of a people manager for the team - Manage and support recruitment, set KRA's for direct reportees, monitor overall team's KRA's, conduct performance appraisal, ensure clarity and appropriate delegation of responsibility - Facilitate the development of subordinates through constant on and off the job learning, job rotation, etc. - To guide, motivate and develop the sub-ordinates • Generating Quality indicator dashboard for Senior Management reviews highlighting key quality risks. • Monitor & improve non-performing suppliers and organize periodic Quality reviews as per escalation matrix • Guide & support team members for chronic concern resolution.
