Job Description

Define system and software architecture for avionics display platforms (cockpit and mission-critical applications).
Own requirements capture, allocation, and traceability in compliance with ARP4754A and DO-178C.
Architect modular, certifiable display frameworks supporting real-time rendering, graphics libraries, and ARINC 661 Cockpit Display System (CDS) interfaces.
Ensure compliance with DO-178C Level A/B for safety-critical display software.
Collaborate with UI designers, HMI engineers, and avionics system teams to translate flight symbology and interface requirements into software design.
Oversee middleware and rendering pipeline design, including OpenGL/ES, Vulkan, or certifiable graphics libraries (e.g., ENSCO IData, Presagis VAPS XT).
Ensure robust integration with FMS, autopilot, CNS/ATM, EICAS/ECAM, and mission systems.
Lead trade studies for target hardware (PowerPC, ARM, x86 GPUs) and RTOS (INTEGRITY-178B, VxWorks 653, LynxOS-178).
Define verification and validation strategy including SIL/HIL test frameworks and graphics validation tools.
Support certification audits with FAA/EASA authorities.
