The BOP cost analyst within GCOE is responsible for the calculation of target costs and to evaluate the technical and economical estimations of concepts and engineering changes, of all automotive interior bought-out parts. The BOP Cost Analyst is responsible for settling of all the work packages of the function according to the current version of the program management system (PMS). Among the tasks mentioned in PMS, the BOPs cost Analyst has the following most important tasks and responsibilities: Analyzing of the RFQ documents Reading and interpretation of engineering drawings Verification of the technical and economical feasibility For certain technologies the preparation of a process flow with subsequent validation by GTS (Global Technology & Standard) Calculation of the purchase prices EXW for the manufacturing of bought-out parts (BOP) Creation of a costing file according to Faurecia Reference Costing (FReC) methodology to calculate the purchase price Creation of a BOP summary file according to FReC template including the agreed values from Purchasing dept.
