Work with Product Development & Quality team to define process parameters and criteria to ensure supplier process capability is effective to meet product and process requirements. Responsible for Body part supply chain management with various vendors and Build builders Sending RFQ (request for quotations) to new or existing suppliers, price negotiation and finalizing buying price. Cost comparison with quotation and target price. Responsible for development and procurement of proprietary parts such as wiring harness, lamps, ITS systems, switchs etc. within defined time plan. Development of alternate vendors for Cost Reduction for existing parts. Cost calculation based on different process, machines and energy used for manufacturing. To work out parts cost reduction based on raw material costs, process, packing, transportation and scraps generated during production. Continue to work for cost reduction of developed parts using VA/VE & import localization. Preferred candidate profile Minimum Degree: B.E./B.Tech with 7 yrs or Diploma 10 yrs Minimum Years of experience: T1 or OEM Prior experience required: Prior exposure to Bus body parts sourcing / RM procurement and supply chain etc .
