You will be responsible for handling PM E-Drive test requirements. This includes managing 2w/3w EV testing and certification processes. Your duties will involve coordinating and executing the complete test cycle from the incoming stage till certification. You will need to resolve various issues that may arise during testing and collaborate with customers through the APEX team for resolution. It is crucial to ensure that tests and test reports are completed within the defined time frame. Troubleshooting in-process issues and managing all documentation related to CMVR (PM E-Drive) will also be part of your responsibilities. Desirable qualifications for this role include having a good understanding of 2W EV functioning, strong communication skills, hands-on experience with Windows and MS Office, as well as a basic knowledge of EV testing and homologation processes. You should hold a B Tech/BE degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical/mechanical documentation work related to testing and certification. Previous experience in test agencies or 2w/3w EV manufacturing is preferred, especially if you have worked with PM E-drive systems. Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Conduct pre-delivery inspections on fully assembled E-Rickshaws as per defined checklists and quality standards. Inspect and test electrical systems (battery, motor controller, wiring harness), mechanical assemblies (suspension, braking, chassis), and fit & finish. Perform battery health checks and ensure proper charging protocols are followed. Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for rectification of identified issues. Ensure compliance with company specifications, government regulations, and safety norms (e.g., CMVR standards). Maintain detailed inspection reports, PDI checklists, and digital logs in ERP/QMS systems. Escalate recurring quality issues and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions. Monitor tool calibration and proper use of testing equipment. Support training of PDI technicians and line inspectors on standard inspection procedures. Assist in continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality and PDI process optimization. Preferred candidate profile Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automobile Engineering. 13 years of experience in a PDI, QA/QC, or service role, preferably in EV, automotive, or 2/3-wheeler manufacturing. Sound knowledge of electric vehicle components: battery systems, motor controllers, wiring, lighting, etc. Familiarity with diagnostic tools and EV testing equipment. Understanding of CMVR and AIS standards applicable to electric three-wheelers. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet dispatch schedules. Experience in E-Rickshaw, E-Scooter, or EV manufacturing setup.
