Senior Manager, IT Applications

The Senior Manager, IT Applications at BITS Mumbai Campus will have the responsibility of overseeing the seamless operations of all academic, administrative, and enterprise IT applications. This role includes managing applications such as Salesforce CRM & Admissions, Student Information System (SIS), Learning Management System (LMS), Library Management System, Financial ERP, HRMS, and other critical systems. The primary focus will be on driving efficiency, integration, security, and innovation in technology solutions to support the faculty, staff, and students effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise applications including deployment, configuration, upgrades, and integration for optimal performance. - Ensuring high availability, reliability, and security of all academic and administrative applications. - Collaborating with academic leaders and administrative heads to understand requirements and provide effective IT solutions. - Defining and executing the application roadmap aligned with institutional digital transformation goals. - Leading and mentoring the application support team while managing vendor relationships and ensuring quality service delivery. - Driving seamless integration of various systems and maintaining data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across platforms. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred). - Approximately 15 years of progressive experience in IT application management, preferably in higher education or large enterprise settings. - Expertise in managing Salesforce CRM, ERP (Finance & HR), SIS, LMS, Library Management, and related systems. - Strong experience in application integration, vendor management, and IT governance. - Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing complex projects with knowledge of cybersecurity, compliance, and digital transformation best practices.
