Job Title: Senior Manager – Business Development (BD) – Facility and Property Management

Location: Bangalore

Reporting To: Regional BD Lead

Role Purpose

To serve as the for Business Development in FM and PM South, supporting the regional BD lead in driving strategic growth, managing bids and RFPs, and ensuring execution of BD initiatives across the region. The role also contributes to pipeline development, pricing strategy, and client engagement, with a strong focus on execution excellence and market responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Support: Contribute to regional BD strategy formulation and execution.
  • Bid & RFP Management: Lead end-to-end bid creation, RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, and solutioning for FM and PM South opportunities. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality submissions.
  • Pipeline Execution & Reporting: Manage and track BD pipeline using internal tools; ensure timely follow-ups, documentation, and reporting. Maintain dashboards and trackers for visibility and governance.
  • Client Engagement & Presentations: Support client meetings, presentations, and negotiations. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Pricing & Financial Modeling: Collaborate with Finance and Procurement to develop competitive pricing strategies and supplier costing. Ensure alignment with market benchmarks and client expectations.
  • Market Intelligence & Proposal Collateral: Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and client feedback. Maintain best-practice proposal templates, graphics, and statistics for reuse and consistency.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Liaise with Operations, Finance, Legal, and Procurement to align on bid deliverables, timelines, and solutioning inputs.

Skills & Experience

  • 8–10 years of experience in Facilities Management BD, with exposure to South India markets.
  • Proven track record in bid management, pricing strategy, and RFP creation.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in financial modeling and proposal development.
  • Ability to operate independently and drive outcomes in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

MBA (Marketing) or equivalent.
