POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Manager – Corporate Affairs (SRA) will oversee all liaisoning, coordination, and statutory processes with the Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) and associated government bodies. The role involves end-to-end coordination with Engineering, Town Planning, CTSO, Deputy Collector (SRA), Finance Controller (SRA), and the Assistant Registrar of Societies, ensuring seamless compliance, documentation, and execution of all redevelopment projects under SRA regulations.

This role is vital for driving approvals, managing documentation, resolving issues, and maintaining regulatory compliance across all SRA-related functions.

Reporting to: Director – Corporate Affairs

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Liaisoning & Coordination with SRA Departments

  • Liaise with all relevant SRA departments, including:
  • Engineering Department – drawing scrutiny, technical approvals, site verification.
  • Town Planning – zoning, plan sanctions, FSI-related approvals.
  • CTSO – property card updates, boundary verification, mutation entries.
  • Deputy Collector (SRA) – land revenue, title verification, rehabilitation clearances.
  • Finance Controller (SRA) – financial approvals, premium payments, audit compliance.
  • Assistant Registrar of Societies (AR) – society registration, name reservation, and statutory filings.
  • Track submissions, file movements, observations, and follow-ups for all SRA-related applications.
  • Coordinate inter-department communication and represent the Group during official meetings and hearings.

2. Documentation & Approval Management

  • Prepare, compile, and submit all required documents including:
  • Layout plans
  • Development agreements
  • Society formation documentation
  • Compliance and NOC files
  • Maintain accurate records of application status, observations, and timelines.
  • Ensure end-to-end management of NOCs, sanctions, permissions, and renewals from all SRA authorities.
  • Prevent delays through proactive error-free documentation and tracking.

3. Stakeholder & Relationship Management

  • Build strong working relationships with officials across SRA departments including Chief Officer, Engineering, Town Planning, Deputy Collector, and Finance Controller offices.
  • Maintain productive communication with registered societies, consultants, architects, and project teams.
  • Represent the organization in reviews, discussions, and compliance meetings.
  • Ensure all interactions are ethical, transparent, and aligned with Aspect Global’s governance framework.

4. Governance, Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain trackers and dashboards for ongoing and upcoming SRA projects.
  • Prepare periodic MIS reports for senior leadership.
  • Stay updated on all latest SRA notifications, circulars, and policy amendments.
  • Ensure full adherence to statutory requirements and minimize the risk of non-compliance.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Law, Civil Engineering, Public Administration, or Urban Planning.
  • 10–15 years of experience in SRA liaisoning, slum redevelopment, and government coordination within Real Estate or Conglomerate sectors.
  • Strong experience in handling approvals with Engineering, Town Planning, AR, and SRA offices.
  • Deep understanding of SRA regulations, redevelopment norms, and policy frameworks.
  • Excellent coordination, negotiation, documentation, and follow-up skills.
  • High integrity and adherence to governance standards.
