Senior Manager - Compliance

Role & responsibilities

Lead and mentor the compliance team, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development

Oversee and manage statutory compliances including PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, and other labor laws

Manage CLRA licensing and other regulatory licenses, ensuring timely application, renewals, and adherence to government norms

Handle sensitive cases such as workplace accidents or death claims with diligence, accuracy, and empathy

Maintain payroll-related statutory records, ensure audit readiness, and streamline compliance processes

Utilize Advanced Excel tools to analyze and manage large datasets, generating accurate reports for management and clients

Build and manage strong client relationships, serving as a key point of contact for compliance and payroll queries

Conduct compliance training sessions for internal teams and provide guidance to client stakeholders on statutory obligations

Monitor, review, and ensure timely submission of statutory filings across client accounts

Coordinate and follow up with clients, government authorities, and internal teams to ensure 100% compliance

Be open to local travel within Kolkata for inspections, audits, and client meetings

Preferred candidate profile

Strong knowledge of labor laws, CLRA, and statutory compliances

Experience in client account management and stakeholder handling

Proficiency in Advanced Excel & MS Office tools

Ability to lead, train, and motivate teams

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and coordinate with authorities

Eye for detail and a proactive approach toward compliance management.
