Position Summary
We are seeking a highly driven and strategic
Senior Manager – Sales
to lead revenue growth and oversee NxtWave’s offline expansion across key territories.In this leadership role, you will manage a team of
Associate SMs, Business Development Managers (BDMs), Associate BDMs (ABDMs), and Counsellors
, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets, process excellence, and exceptional customer experience.You will own the sales funnel end-to-end, coach your team for high performance, and implement scalable systems to support NxtWave’s growth across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue & Funnel Management
- Own the entire B2C sales funnel: Lead Qualification → Demo → Conversion → Retention.
- Track and optimize key metrics: Lead-to-Demo %, Demo-to-Sale %, CAC, Attrition, and Revenue per Counsellor.
- Develop accurate sales forecasting models to plan resources and achieve revenue goals.
- Strategic Planning & Execution
- Design and execute territory-wise growth and expansion strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new offline opportunities and regional demand patterns.
- Define short-term and long-term sales roadmaps for scalability.
- Manage office visits, counseling sessions, and admission processes for parents and students.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of Managers, ABDMs, and Counsellors.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and coach team members to enhance productivity.
- Build a strong team culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
- Operational Excellence
- Identify bottlenecks in funnel management and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Lead Generation, Product, and Operations teams to align strategies and improve lead efficiency.
- Handle escalations, ensuring a seamless and positive learner experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 3–6 years in Sales Leadership, preferably in EdTech / Education / High-ticket B2C Sales.
- Proven success in managing Managers/ABDMs and Counsellors with measurable revenue outcomes.
- Excellent communication in English and at least one regional language (Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Odia).
- Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making and sales funnel optimization.
- A coaching mindset with strong people management and motivation skills.
- Resilient, goal-oriented, and thrives in a high-growth startup environment.
Work Location & Schedule
- Work Locations: Gujarat / Bangalore / Odisha / West Bengal / Madhya Pradesh / Tamil Nadu / Maharashtra (based on territory).
- Work Days: 6-day working week (Rotational week-offs).
