As a Senior Manager – AI & Data, you will lead the strategic vision, architecture, and execution of AI and data initiatives across the enterprise. This role demands a unique blend of deep technical expertise, cross-functional leadership, and strategic foresight. You will be responsible for managing multiple teams of associates and managers, building and scaling intelligent platforms, driving innovation through AI and advanced analytics, and establishing foundational capabilities for a newly formed Global Technology Center. You will also work closely with leadership to ensure the operational stability of technology systems.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Engineering, or a related technical field
Cloud Architecture certification (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Architect) preferred
Data Engineering certification (e.g., Google Cloud Data Engineer, Databricks Certified Data Engineer) preferred
12–20 years of experience in engineering roles, with at least 8–10 years leading AI, ML, and data platform engineering
Proven track record of leading Data & AI/ML teams with a strong understanding of enterprise-scale AI, ML, and Data Engineering
Experience in setting up and scaling technology centers, innovation hubs, or enterprise platforms
Strong background in managing cross-functional teams, vendor ecosystems, and enterprise stakeholders
Deep expertise in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face) and Generative AI technologies (LLMs, RAG, agentic systems)
Strong command of data engineering platforms (Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Delta Lake) and cloud-native data services
Proven experience in leading teams in cloud architecture and deployment on AWS, Azure, or GCP
Ability to translate business strategy into scalable AI and data architectures
Experience managing large engineering teams and delivering complex programs on time and within budget
Exposure to multi-modal AI systems, autonomous agents, and real-time decision platforms
Familiarity with enterprise data platforms
Ability to engage with external partners, academia, and AI communities for thought leadership
Define and drive the AI & Data strategy and roadmap for the Global Technology Center, aligned with enterprise transformation goals
Lead technology planning and investment decisions, balancing innovation, scalability, and business impact
Evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, and methodologies to future-proof AI and data capabilities
Collaborate with executive leadership to align AI initiatives with business priorities, regulatory requirements, and market trends
Develop strategic partnerships with vendors, startups, and academic institutions to accelerate innovation
Partner with senior management to develop and recommend short- and long-term technology improvements and initiatives
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI and data platforms, including Generative AI, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation
Ensure architectural integrity, scalability, and performance of AI systems across cloud-native environments
Lead program governance, risk management, and quality assurance across all AI and data initiatives
Drive cross-functional collaboration between engineering, data science, product, and business teams to deliver impactful solutions
Monitor and optimize platform performance, cost efficiency, and operational resilience
Establish architecture frameworks, reusable assets, and best practices for AI and data engineering
Enable tooling, infrastructure, and automation to accelerate development and experimentation
Represent the Global Technology Center in internal forums, steering committees, and innovation councils
Build and lead a high-performing team of architects, engineers, and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
Drive talent strategy, including hiring, mentoring, career development, and succession planning
