Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing the month-end/year-end close processes, providing strategic direction and leadership to the finance team, collaborating with senior leadership to define and execute long-term strategies, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are consistently met, driving continuous improvement initiatives and process automation, and managing a high-performing team of finance professionals within the shared services group. Additionally, you will be expected to conduct regular audits and reviews of financial processes, analyze financial data and reports, and act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding shared services activities. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee month-end/year-end close processes - Provide strategic direction and leadership for the finance team - Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute long-term strategies - Ensure SLAs and KPIs are consistently met - Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process automation - Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals - Implement training programs and career development opportunities - Conduct regular audits and reviews of financial processes - Analyze financial data and reports to identify trends and opportunities for optimization - Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding shared services activities - Build strong cross-functional relationships and work closely with the broader finance team Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting/Finance or related discipline/MBA /CA /CWA /CFA - 12+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or shared services, with at least 4-5 years in a leadership role - Expert knowledge of Oracle R12/Fusion - Excellent project management abilities - Deep understanding of P2P, financial reporting, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance - Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills - Ability to manage competing priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - Occasional travel may be required, depending on the organization's needs Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing the month-end/year-end close processes, providing strategic direction and leadership to the finance team, collaborating with senior leadership to define and execute long-term strategies, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are consistently met, driving continuous improvement initiatives and process automation, and managing a high-performing team of finance professionals within the shared services group.
