Job Description

  • Internal team coordination and excellent communication skills Interacting with clients to understand their requirements and customising content to meet the expectations Setting clear client expectations for the team members for every project Clear communication within the medical team and with other teams Appropriate guidance to the team for every project
  • Reviewing/editing/fact-checking the content developed by writers for medical accuracy/relevance and overall presentation Coordinating with the creative team, technical team and quality assurance team for proper representation of content in the designed or digital form To be involved in all the stages of the project, from inception to completion Responsibilities concerning writing content Ensuring an accurate literature search and making concept notes based on the client brief or the brief given by marketing personnel
  • Providing scientific and creative concept notes and strategies for brands/various medico-marketing inputs/core scientific inputs To develop the content based on the table of contents approved by the client and also make a reference dossier for the client's medical approval Content development and editing for a wide array of inputs- LBLs, visual aids, product monographs, newsletters, slide decks, videos, patient education collaterals, social media posts, manuscripts, etc
  • Being responsible for the accuracy of content and ensuring that the information being provided is factually/scientifically correct To carry out corrections based on the client's request and based on the comments of the client's medical person Referencing of documents as per the Vancouver style of referencing Educational Qualification and Experience: Masters degree in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Pharmacy or MBBS/MD/BAMS/BHMS Min
  • 3 to 4 years of relevant writing experience in Healthcare/Pharma companies/Medcom agencies Desired Profile:
  • Knowledge of medical disorders and pharmacological aspects of therapies Market Awareness/understanding of client needs Imagination and creativity Ability to work independently and execute the delegated projects Excellent verbal and written communication skills Above-average editing and proofreading skills
  • Ability to interface well with all departments of the company and work effectively with individuals at all levels within the company Efficient in Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook Expertise in literature search Ability to mentor junior/senior writers
