Marketing Manager - Arms & Ammunition Industry

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager with a strong background in the arms and ammunition sector to lead and execute strategic marketing initiatives at our Nagpur facility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in defence-related marketing, B2B sales, and client engagement, with deep industry knowledge and government liaison experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote arms and ammunition products in domestic and international markets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with defense organizations, paramilitary forces, law enforcement agencies, and licensed private buyers.
• Maintain strong relationships with key clients, government departments, and defense procurement agencies.
• Coordinate with product, sales, and R&D teams to align marketing efforts with product capabilities and market needs.
• Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and regulatory changes affecting the industry.
• Participate in defence expos, trade shows, and B2B events to represent the company and generate leads.
• Prepare detailed marketing reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management.
• Ensure all marketing and promotional materials comply with industry regulations and licensing requirements.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8-15 years of marketing experience in the arms, ammunition, or defence manufacturing industry.
• Excellent understanding of defence procurement processes, government contracts, and industry compliances.
• Strong network within defence sector stakeholders (DRDO, MoD, Ordnance Factories, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel for business meetings, exhibitions, and government liaising.
